This year's GeoBusiness show promises to be the biggest yet. We will be in attendance, so if you'd like to join us you'll need to pre-register to gain entry for free! Here's a word from the event organisers:
"GEO Business is for everyone involved in the gathering, storing, processing and delivering of geospatial information. It is the unmissable geospatial event of the year!
Combining a central trade exhibition featuring over 200 exhibitors showcasing the latest geospatial technology and services (64% more exhibit space than 2014), with a packed conference programme including 50 cutting-edge presentations plus over 140 live commercial workshops demonstrating first hand products and services (34% more than 2014), and a full programme of networking opportunities, GEO Business has something for everyone.
The show’s unifying vision is to promote closer collaboration across the geospatial community and to provide a platform that effectively showcases both the professionalism of this industry and the role that it will play in future economic growth. It was born out of consultation with industry and as a result is organised in collaboration with the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES), the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), The Survey Association (TSA), the Association for Geographic Information (AGI) and more recently the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
Overwhelming response from industry
Industry hailed the first event as “a breath of fresh air” and the “dawn of a new era”, when the inaugural GEO Business showcase launched in 2014. Queues of enthusiastic visitors marked the opening of the two day show and by the time doors closed, over 1,600 attendees from 39 countries had visited which was followed by a wealth of glowing testimonials.
Tracey Stone, senior infrastructure product sales specialist lead EMEA at Autodesk comments “I was very impressed with the GEO Business 2014 event and would go so far to say it was one of the best events I have been to for a while. It was extremely well organised, the content of the conference and workshop programme was very good and the energy and buzz around the exhibition hall was very impressive”
“It was a great show. I was spoilt for choice, with the exhibition, conference and workshops sessions, it was difficult to fit everything into one day!” comments visitor Jeremy Murfitt, director at Everything is Somewhere Ltd."
We hope to see you there for a catch up!
